A prospect who looked to cause chaos defensively, Davis was trapping and trying to speed up the game whenever he saw an opportunity. Davis flew around the court defensively and added to the intensity of the court he was on. I also was impressed with his physical tools as he made some nice plays in transition with the ball in his hands. CCPA has been a program on the rise in Cincinnati the past couple seasons and Davis is a name to watch in their program.

If an MVP of the 15U division were to be chosen, Evan would’ve been in the conversation. He was everywhere on the court in the Cincinnati Rockerz matchups. His ability to turn offense into defense with intense on-ball pressure and quick hands stood out. On the offensive side of court, he was able to play on and off the ball with an equal level of comfort. He has a smooth hesi dribble in his bag that shifted the defender every time he used it. Evan also showcased an ability to score on multiple levels.

Evan was both the calm and the storm for Cincinnati Rockerz 15U. His leadership stood out first – unafraid of being the loudest vocal leader on the court. Once he dropped nearly 30 PTS, however, it was hard to notice much else. He deployed pesky defensive tactics on several occasions that resulted in turnovers and thus, offensive opportunities. Additionally, Evan was the most capable of creating space for himself of all the prospects in the contest. Whether it was getting a necessary defensive stop, facilitating the offense, or showcasing a deadly hesi off the dribble, Evan seemed to be in a tier of his own in his day 1 matchup.
