This 6’6” athletic stretch-4 prospect averaged 23.7 points per night this season for Hanover. Herndon (1,000+ point scorer) posted five 30-pieces during his incredible senior campaign, including a season high 39 points (5 threes) against Littlestown. Herndon closed his high school basketball career with games of 35 and then 33 points. Herndon can splash jumpers from behind the arc. His length and lift enable Herndon shoot over defenders and even double teams with ease. Those same assets allow him finish dribble drives to the rack and fast breaks with authority. Herndon owns remarkable court vision and a high IQ. So, when opponents attempt to double team him, Herndon is quick to identify it and then move the ball to an open teammate. Herndon recently took a visit to Elizabethtown College (D3), but more college coaches should be texting this versatile prospect.
