Even though Bryce Garnett Bryce Garnett Bryce Garnett 5'11" | PG Kirkwood | 2027 State TN + Armani Smith Armani Smith Armani Smith 6'2" | SG Kirkwood | 2027 State TN put up more points it is difficult to argue they did it without frustration and turnovers. Winston was and is very quick. He loves to square up and get his feet in front of you, the ball-handler. Whitehaven’s center Aliyu Idris Aliyu Idris Aliyu Idris 6'9" | C Whitehaven | 2026 State TN needs court balance to keep doubles and triples away. Winston is not a killer outside shooter yet, but he is impossible to close out on if teams do commit to doubling down.

3/9/26: Crafty in the lane. He showed that he understood his size around 6-foot-4ish defenders in deep and still carved out enough space to get it up and in. Really sound defensively. High defensive IQ. He takes his duties on that end seriously and actually derives a lot of joy from defending in trapping situations.
