About Eric

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My basketball game is all about athleticism and explosiveness. I thrive on playing above the rim and can drive downhill with ease, making it tough for defenders. As a lockdown defender, I excel at shutting down my opponents, using my quickness and agility to create scoring opportunities for myself and my teammates.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I have a humble and laid-back personality, always appreciating the simple things in life. I love spending quality time with my friends and family, cherishing those moments and creating lasting memories. My easygoing nature helps me connect with others and enjoy life’s little joys.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

In addition to basketball, I’m passionate about track and aspire to compete at the collegiate level. I love the thrill of racing and pushing my limits. I also participate in my high school chess club, where I enjoy strategizing and challenging my mind. Balancing both sports and academics keeps me focused and engaged.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I actively engage in community service by mentoring and coaching youth basketball in my neighborhood. It’s rewarding to share my passion for the game and help young players develop their skills. I enjoy fostering teamwork and confidence in the kids, inspiring them both on and off the court.

What type of college are you looking for?

In college, I'm seeking an environment that will challenge me both academically and athletically. I want a school that supports my ambitions in basketball while also allowing me to pursue track. It’s important for me to be part of a program that encourages growth, teamwork, and excellence in both sports and my studies.
