The lengthy Span is a very interesting prospect in the 2028 class. On defense, he has a huge impact on the game in both the wing and post. Span can block shots at a high rate, anticipating well, not falling for pump fakes in the post. In a close game versus Bryant, Jacksonville found themselves down three with 15 seconds left. Elijah got the ball at the top of the key; after a quick crossover, he got to the rim and finished a tough and-1 layup with his left. They would go on to lose the game, but Span still showed a want for the ball in a big moment.

Span’s combination of size and hustle continues to stand out. He rebounds, competes physically, and is showing early inside‑out scoring flashes. Trending as a high‑motor, versatile forward moving into the offseason.

Physical presence stood out in contact-heavy drills and finishing stations.

Defensive versatility, able to guard multiple spots with effort and IQ.

Relentless motor brought energy to every rep and never coasted.
