Fraser has had a big summer season and is looking to carry that form over into the winter. The 5’10 guard plays with confidence on the ball as he knows how to get to his spot on the floor and can shoot either off the catch or bounce. Fraser can also get to the rim off the bounce and can finish through contact around the rim. He is an underrated passer and jumps passing lanes on the defensive end. Fraser has the potential to be one of the highest scoring 2030 prospects in the state with his ability to score inside and out.

Fraser already possesses an advanced feel for a freshman guard. He understands how to manipulate defenders, create angles and get to his spots while also showing the playmaking ability to make the right read once the defense reacts. He finished at the rim despite giving up some size and showed enough shooting ability that defenders couldn’t simply play underneath him. As he physically matures, there’s a lot to like about where his combination of feel and creation could take him.

Expected to operate with a high usage rate heading into the high school season, Fraser showed no hesitation in asserting himself and looked comfortable creating offense— leveraging his quick blow by off the bounce to get in the lane and finish from tough angles around the basket while at the same time collapsing the defense and maintaining his court vision and moving the ball for one more.

Fraser is one of the shiftiest guard prospects in the class, which he should put on display this season. The 5’10 guard has a tight handle, which he uses to blow by his defender off the bounce and finishes in a variety of ways around the rim. Fraser has a nice touch on his floater and has a good release on his jumper. He is an underrated passer and slides his feet on the defensive end. Fraser is a talented guard prospect who should make plays with the ball in his hands throughout the course of the season.

Even with Plainfield basketball embarking on the start of a new era for its program, there’s still things to look forward to and if the action from Legacy’s Team Camp earlier this week are a sign of things, Eli Fraser Eli Fraser 5'10" | PG Plainfield | 2030 NJ should have a lot to do with that. Expected to assume lead guard responsibilities for this group and see a high usage rate on the ball, Fraser didn’t seem to be lacking any type of confidence asserting himself and looked rather comfortable creating offense— particularly with his quick twitch ability off the bounce in creating offense for himself and scoring from different areas on the floor while at the same time being a more than willing playmaker who keeps his vision when attacking and finding his teammates in the right spots to be successful.
