About Dwayne

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a dynamic combo guard who has a well-rounded game. I have a tight handle, good pace and the ability to control the game, as a reliable shooter and a very strong finisher at the rim. My court vision allows me to penetrate and finish in the paint or kick it out to my teammates for open shots. I am aggressive on defense and i compete for rebounds and a good shot blocker for my size.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m a person who is competitive and hates to lose and I’m always pushing myself and my teammates to get better. I work hard to bring out the best in my teammates to create a winning mindset around me. I believe success comes from discipline, effort, and the belief that you can do anything you put your mind to.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m involved in MCYO, jazz band, symphonic band and orchestra where I play double bass, piano, and percussion. I received the Director’s Choice award and was named MVP twice for both symphonic band and orchestra. I also participated in Bass Works and was selected for the All-County Orchestra in Maryland.
