Gilkey is a name I was not familiar with, but with the way that he stuffed the statsheets in every single game, that is going to change. Liberty Common has a sleeper over there that is going to make some noise if he continues playing how he did this weekend. He was a force on the boards, went right up with them, and scored aplenty with second-chance opportunities. He kept the ball high and used his body well to score on the block. He was patient with the ball in his hands and put the defenders on his hip until he found where he wanted to go, which is some high-level plays. If Gilkey was not scoring, he was getting trips to the FT line and kept RTS Choice in games, and led them to victories as well. They went 3-1 on the weekend, and he was part of the reason. He’s a name to watch moving forward, and we added him to the ranking list, so hopefully he claims his profile soon so we can keep track of his play as he should be a name to know.
