What's your biggest strength as a player, and how does it show up in games?
My biggest strength is my basketball IQ because it impacts every part of my game. I read defenses, make the right play, and consistently put my teammates in positions to succeed while also creating my own scoring opportunities with my shooting. On the defensive end, I anticipate plays, communicate, and take pride in shutting down opposing guards. My goal every game is to make winning decisions.
What are you working to improve right now?
I'm focused on becoming even more consistent in every aspect of my game. I'm always working on tightening my handle, improving my ability to finish through contact, and expanding my offensive versatility so I can score efficiently in any situation. I'm also committed to continuing to develop as a leader by communicating more, holding myself and my teammates accountable, and increasing my impact.
What are you looking for in a college program?
I'm looking for a program where the relationships are genuine. I want to find the right college home. I want to be around coaches/teammates who invest in me as a person, not only a player. Academically, I want a school that will challenge and prepare me for life after b-ball. I want a program with a team culture, system that values high-IQ b-ball, unselfish play, strong defense, to keep developing
Outside of your sport, what should coaches know about you?
I'm someone who values family, personal growth, and balance. I enjoy spending time with my family, listening to music, golfing, working out, traveling, watching movies, being outdoors, and taking time to think and reflect. I also take my academics seriously because I know developing as a student/person is as important as developing as a player. I'm looking to become the best version of myself.
What do you want to study, and what career interests you?
I'm still exploring what I want to study, but I'm interested in engineering, business, and finance because I enjoy problem-solving, critical thinking, and learning how things work. While I haven't decided on a specific career path yet, I want to choose a field that challenges me intellectually and gives me opportunities to continue growing both professionally and personally.
