Robbie Hodin | Prep Hoops Scout
Washington is only a rising freshman but projects to be a top 3 player on this year’s Reason Prep squad—though he couldn’t make the open gym this week, I’ve seen him play and think he’ll fit right in. The 6-foot-3 guard plays at a wonderful pace for his age and has the size, skills, and physical tools to be an excellent player. He can shoot the three ball, but he also handles it well and does a good job bumping defenders and using his body to create space in the mid-range. At the rim, the lanky guard can easily sky for dunks but can also finish with contact. Washington looks like he could continue to grow and develop, and he already has a D1 offer from Pacific.

Washington, a guard out of Reason Prep Academy in Massachusetts, has a chance to be one of the best prospects out of this class in the region. At 6’3″, he already has great size for the position and shows the ability to play with above the rim athleticism on both ends of the floor. He’s got a tight handle, fluid movement patterns, and the ability to elevate into his jumper in the mid-range. He’s comfortable operating out of ball screens as a handler, makes catch and shoot threes with consistency, and has the physical tools to be a high level defender on the perimeter.
