Ari Rosenfeld | Prep Hoops Scout
After putting up video game numbers for most of the season in South Jersey, Adomanis made the trip over the river and further proved himself as one of the more versatile and consistently productive unsigned forwards in the region. Despite a first round loss, he made a notable splash with 38 points and 15 rebounds, showing his full inside-out skillset in the process. Adomanis has consistently expanded his game toward the perimeter but done so without losing sight of his bread-and-butter, that being his energetic impact around the rim. His Donofrio outburst was yet another indicator that he’s a scholarship-level prospect who could even be worth a look for D1 programs as he continues proving himself against different forms of competition.

Despite his Just Clean It squad going down in somewhat lopsided fashion, Adomanis made sure to make the most of his one-game Donofrio opportunity, exploding for 38 points and 15 rebounds on the heels of a prolific run through the SJ Non-Public B bracket. Adomanis showed pieces of everything throughout the game, attacking off the dribble with impressive skill and dexterity for his size while finishing athletically around the rim off the bounce or as a cutter and knocking down four 3’s for good measure to drag opposing forwards away from the rim. He plays with a consistent motor while efficiently going about his business on both end of the floor. Adomanis is flying a bit under the radar but is a clear scholarship-level performer and could be worth a look for D1 programs should he elect to pursue a post-grad year.

Adomanis was a bright spot for his Life Center squad. He did a nice job getting to spots and excels playing out of the mid and low post. He has nice touch around the bucket and doesn’t look to force shots. He also showed that he can score from behind the arc. I would like to see him learn to get his shot off a tad quicker. Adomanis has an active motor which was seen on either end of the floor.

Adomanis established himself early as a presence up front and kept it up throughout the game, dominating for stretches en route to 26 points. He shows a great feel for making himself available in a variety of halfcourt spots, with strong hands and plus feel as a passer to complement his interior finishing ability. While the jumper wasn’t working tonight, Adomanis did step out a couple times and has shown that to be a dimension of his game in the past. He showed a new element tonight as a slasher from the perimeter for a couple impressive buckets. Adomanis has come into his own this year and should approach D1 recruitment with an expected reclass to 2027 on the horizon down the line.
