Dillan is a quick, talented point guard that can get on a hot streak and have his team on a scoring run single-handedly. He’s got great shooting form with range that extends beyond the three-point line. His elevation on his jumper and his vertical ability in general is impressive. He’s faster than lightning on the break and he’s skilled at drawing contact and staying focused on finishing at the rim. He’s got a nice ability to read the defense and take advantage of whatever they’re giving him – if he has space, he’ll create and get to the bucket; if they’re pressing him, he’s a skilled passer who can thread the needle through paper-thin passing lanes. He has a reliable one-legged fadeaway he likes to utilize and he’s an avid defender – always willing to press his man the entire length of the court if need be. Dodson has some promising years ahead of him and folks are going to take notice.

He can change his speed in an instant and immediately up the pace to benefit his team on the offensive side of the ball. Dodson is a good playmaker and has great vision, seeing the floor and making on the dime passes for his teammates to score open buckets. Dillan is an efficient three-point shooter and knows how to pick his spots carefully for jumpshots. I have been impressed with him since last year, but he really turned it up the second half of this regular season. He will continue his momentum play into the playoffs as the Bruins keep riding this hot streak of wins. When he puts in a strong performance, we should fully expect Dillan to gain some collegiate offers by end of the season.
