The 6’8 big body made steady progress, he was a key contributor on a team that played in the CIF State DI Title game. He has deliberate movement, improved footwork in the post. He has good power going up in traffic. He has the body and strength to be a good post defender. He rebounds, sets solid screens, and has good passing.

A big body that has figured some things out since we last saw him in Fall Ball. He’s doing what 6’8 big bodies do. He has improved movements in the post area, he’s more alert, and showing paint presence on defense. He rebounds, sets solid screens, makes good passes before heading down to the rim to get a put back or posting on the block. He’s not scoring a lot, he could a go to target on the block.

He needs to polish up his foot work, and post skills, but does have some tools to work with. He’s deliberate, plays best off two feet when balanced, gathering himself, then powering up. He can use 1-2 dribbles from the mid, and high post. Standing 6’8 with a solid body he can be a factor defending in the paint. He’s aware, takes up space, still learning how to take advantage of his body. He rebounds, sets screens to free up guards, he moves the ball around the perimeter.

He’s a big body still learning how to make use of the space he occupies. He’s made improvements from the beginning of the season. He’ll help his team in the post if he stays aggressive going after rebounds, turning and taking it up strong on balance, and being a physical defender in the post. He’s good passer to find cutters, and shooters from his post position.
