About Dezi

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play hard and never take plays off. I lead by example and I am coachable. I'm a "late bloomer" when it comes to playing basketball (I recently started playing at the age of 12) with just 3 years of experience, but I'm a quick learner and have come a long way in my 3 years of playing. I am a relentless defender, and on the offensive end, I'm an excellent shooter and DEADLY from the mid-range.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am a team player who plays to win, not for stats. I take pride in being mentally strong and I never allow my opponent to get in my head, or to throw me off course. I'm a leader on and off the court and my teammates look to me for leadership.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

National Honor Society - 8th Grade Student of the Month - 7th & 8th Grade A & B Honor Roll.
