About Dewane

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I am a poised guard that can make high level reads, set up my teammates and score when needed.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I like to get better every day even if it’s in a really small way progress leads to success.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I’m in the national honor society at school and I’m a part of other clubs and have received audible every year that I’ve been in high school.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a captain I lead my team on and off the court and I always learn more than needed so I can help my teammates.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

It’s been hard for me to transfer schools and get used to a new environment and then succeed, but I got through it with my tough mentality and help from coaches and friends and family.

What type of college are you looking for?

One that likes to compete on a high level and that will challenge me to get better every day. And that could help me reach my goal of playing basketball to receive money.
