Devon is an impressive, versatile guard that has the size to play forward for his team if need be. He’s incredibly long for his age and he uses that effectively on both sides of the ball. He’s imposing on defense, guarding his paint and rim with a ferocity that’s not common to come across. He glides through the key on the offensive end, using his elite reach to position the ball to an un-blockable position on his shot attempts. He can also knock it down from beyond the arc and he stays ready at all times – quick passes will not catch him off guard. The potential is crazy with Porter and his upside is massive as long as he continues to put in the work behind the scenes. I have no doubt he’ll do so and he’ll become a household name at Cornerstone Christian in the process.
