Swindler stood out for Next Level Elite Poole on Saturday at the Phenom Summer Havoc. He showed good flashes in multiple areas of the game, showing his versatility as a wing prospect. I am confident in Devin’s ability to affect the game as a 3 & D player and he is more effective in that role than as the #1 guy at the high school level. He has a very strong frame and uses his physicality smartly to make positive plays on both ends of the floor. Devin is also a good shooter, as he displayed when down 3 3s in the win over Team EAT on Saturday. Swindler will have some impressive plays in transition too, where he can show off his athleticism and ability to finish at the rim.

While Walter was someone who stood out in the final game of the Sizzlin’ Summer Shootout Silver Bracket, Swindler was someone who stood out in the first game of the Sizzlin’ Summer Shootout Silver Bracket. With his AAU team, Devin has much more spacing on his drives but with Clinton, he was forced into several bodies on every drive. He still displayed strength, athleticism, and an ability to play off two feet despite this scheme. Swindler also showed off his vision and desire to get his teammates involved, and was almost too unselfish at times. Devin went for 17 Points, 9 Rebounds, and 5 Steals in the game.

headlines our list of standout prospects from the 17U Blue Bracket. He had a terrific weekend helping his squad go 5-0 and win the Championship. Devin is a terrific athlete and has a very strong frame. He uses those attributes to make an impact on both ends of the floor, guarding multiple positions, finishing at the rim, and even shooting with efficiency from the perimeter. He had a dominant game in the First Round against Shelby Sports Academy, putting up 18 Points (4 3PM), 11 Rebounds, 9 Assists, and 2 Blocks.

Swindler brings a good frame and plenty of hustle to the floor for the Red Devils. He was quite impressive a few weeks back at the SCLive Event in Rock Hill.
Devin plays the game with an endless motor at times and seems to always be in position to make a play.
