This is a guy who has bounced around a bit but has found a home over at The Burlington School and is really starting to find his stride. Sims is a versatile combo guard/wing prospect who’s unique size, strength, and athleticism provide some flexibility as to where he is on the floor. His remarkable strength, athleticism, high-energy approach, and basketball IQ make him a versatile guard who will take on a multitude of roles for TBS. Defensively, Devin’s agility, strength, and ability to protect the rim pose significant challenges for opposing offenses. His perimeter defense is top-notch, causing turnovers by disrupting passing lanes and serving as a help-side threat. He’s a bouncy prospect at 6-foot-5 that likes to play at the rim on both ends of the floor. He’s due for a breakout season in the Hornets rotation in 2022-23.
