Deshaun was one of the top 3 most dynamic guards I was able to keep my eye on during Saturday’s slate of games. Lewis has great physicality on the perimeter, impressive athleticism. and he is able to bully his way to the rim through multiple defenders. Deshaun also showed a good stroke from mid-range when the defense gave him space to shoot the rock. One of the biggest unsigned steals in Texas left, Deshaun should not be waiting for a collegiate home to find him for very long!!!!

Deshaun Lewis Deshaun Lewis 6'2" | PG/SG Weatherford | 2025 TX is a 6’2 6’2 6'2" Friendswood | 2026 TX guard that is on the rise in the AAU circuit being noticed by other scouts recently. Offensively he excels really well at slashing to the basket on offense with a quick burst on his drives. When cut off during his drives he likes to use a counter spin that is very effective in the paint to get his floater over defenders. Defensively he guards on the ball well and strips the ball away from opposing players driving to the basket. A college program that needs a slasher that can contribute on and off the ball should definitely look at Deshaun as a viable option.
