Expert Analysis
Victor Scott | Prep Hoops Scout
Fowlkes brings a dynamic blend of shiftiness and toughness that jumps off the floor. Offensively, he has a quick first step, tight handle, and the ability to change directions without losing balance or pace. He gets downhill, creates separation, and scores or assists at a high clip, making him a constant pressure point for defenses. What elevates his profile even more is his defensive upside. He plays with active hands, lateral quickness, and the instincts to disrupt actions at the point of attack. Fowlkes is a guard who can impact the game on both ends and continue to grow as a creator at the next level.

Breakout indicators
Already a steady floor general with poise in the half-court, his ability to control tempo and limit turnovers makes him a natural candidate to step into a bigger role. If his 3-point volume rises, he becomes much harder to game-plan against.
Keys to the season
Expand his perimeter shooting confidence, stay aggressive in pick-and-roll creation, and continue to dictate pace as the team’s offensive anchor.
Possible outlook
Projects as a breakout senior who can elevate from “steady guard” to “primary creator,” drawing college looks as a reliable lead guard with IQ and efficiency.

Finishing off the list with the best player out of the 16U division. Fowlkes is a super athletic guard that can do a little of everything offensively. His change of pace is what his game is built around. He can hesitate going right or left and is comfortable finishing with his right or left hand. Fowlkes also is able to play above the rim. He has a great one dribble pull up game going right and is good at playing off two feet around the rim. Has a decent shot from 3 off the dribble, which is where his game excels. If he can speed up his release on catch and shoot 3s this will open his game up a lot more. His shot is smooth but can take a little while to get the shot off.
