Expert Analysis
Frank Mantesta | Prep Hoops Scout
Derek is #128 in our 2023 class. On the east end of Long Island he is a top point guard. High skill set. Outstanding shooter from three. Hard to knock off the ball. Low base and quick handle can weave through defenders and get into the lane. Good at drive and kick.

Frank Mantesta | Prep Hoops Scout
Another guard on the smaller side that is fearless. He keeps the ball low and protected. Can get inside. Really good court vision and awareness. Outstanding range.
