Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I am a 6'3 High level lead guard, a skilled shooter/scorer, I play with high game awareness(IQ) and I make good reads. My ball handling is strong, I am defensively aggressive and I play the game the right way. I can get others involved. I also have the ability to play off the ball, I am good at cutting and I know how to win.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I believe that development is a process, competing is a choice and winning is intentional. Teams beat individuals, so I get my team to buy in because I am intentional about winning. I put in the work required compete at the highest level of whatever it is and my intention is to succeed. Work ethic and accountability is how I developed my discipline. My achievements will speak!
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I am a member of the Black Student Union, and although I am not a formal member of ASB, I take on some of the task. I have received Merritt awards for various acts on campus just treating others the way I would want to be treated.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I serve in my church and am the captain of my basketball team. One of skills I know I have is working with others to accomplish a goal we share.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
I attend a strong HS basketball program and was the only freshman on varsity. The players were stronger, bigger, older and had challenging personalities not to mention the relentless coaching style. Until that point in my life I had never been on the bench. There were a lot of emotions, so I felt them dealt with them and worked harder. By my junior year I was a starter, captain and All League.
What type of college are you looking for?
I am looking for a Highly Competitive college basketball program with a tradition of winning, great professors, basketball history, teaching coaches with integrity, a quality strength and condition program and an opportunity to compete to play.
