About Dekovan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a versatile combo guard who can play up-tempo pushing the ball probing for easy opportunities for my team. I can play against man to man, zone and press defenses. I'm an effective scorer at all three levels and I pride myself on stopping my opponent defensively.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m passionate and I'm a winner. I am easy to get along with, very coachable, competitive, hardworking and possess the determination and drive to be successful. I have a high basketball IQ and look forward to improving both my skill and knowledge of the game. I'm a team player who encourages my teammates and always willing to make the right play.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership, teamwork, work ethic, shooting, dribbling, passing and rebounding are key skills that I have developed and continue to improve as my coaches and teammates count on me.

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to attend a college where I can be challenged in the classroom and on the basketball court. I am open to all options and want to find the right college fit at the highest level of competition possible. Most importantly, I want to graduate with a college degree making my parents proud.
