The former Norman North guard, Deacon Garza Deacon Garza 6'2" | CG Noble | 2028 State OK , is headed just south of town to lead the Noble backcourt. Garza is the type of prospect every coach loves having on the floor because of how fundamentally sound he is. He consistently makes the right play, competes on every possession, and impacts the game in several different ways.

Standing at 6’2 with a strong frame, he uses his size well to absorb contact, crash the glass, and defend multiple positions. His jump shot has continued to improve, allowing him to confidently score from the mid-range and beyond the arc. Garza’s leadership, toughness, and all-around game should make him one of Noble’s most important pieces as the Bears look to compete this winter.

A potential high school breakout candidate. Garza is a strong framed shooter at a new school (Noble). He’s been producing all over the country for Team Oklahoma’s 16U squad. Has flashes of creation with no looks and other flashy plays. There’s a sneaky amount of talent in Noble’s junior class. Garza knocking down shots and setting up teammates could be the key for the Bears to turn their potential into more wins.

Garza has a strong frame for his age. He shoots it clean from deep, and looks to take advantage of close outs to get into the 15-18 range for mid-range. Sometimes it was simple 1-3 dribble redirects after being pushed off the line. But also did probe deeper one time and hit a nice turnaround jumper. Now listed at Norman North after starting his career at a non OSSAA program.
