Dayton Jenkins Dayton Jenkins 6'2" | SG/SF Westview | 2026 State OR showed why he’s a First Team All-League talent, delivering a game-high 21 points with his trademark relentlessness. A tough, high-IQ competitor, he consistently wins 50/50 balls and sets the tone with his effort. Jenkins can stretch the floor from three, plays above the rim, and thrives in transition, making him a constant threat in the open court. His combination of skill, toughness, and motor separates him as one of the premier players in the league.

Perhaps the only player in the league to almost average a double-double, Jenkins made a big jump in his play from his junior to senior season. He also had the athleticism and skill but everything came together for him in 2024-25 as the Wildcats followed up an incredible season with another year where they were contention for the Metro League title. A solid scorer in the halfcourt but absolutely devastating finishing in transition, Jenkins also excelled defensively in addition to his boardwork.

Jenkins delivered a high-motor performance, finishing with a game-high 19 points. A relentless scorer and hard worker, he pairs strong basketball IQ with nonstop activity on the glass, consistently keeping plays alive. Jenkins plays above the rim, can stretch the floor out to the three-point line, and features a polished pull-up and mid-range game. A reliable free-throw shooter as well, he impacts the game in multiple areas with both skill and effort.

He consistently got to the rim, knocked down his free throws, and made an impact on the glass, finishing with 12 points and 9 rebounds.

He does an excellent job reading the defense, finding open lanes, and getting quality looks within the flow of the offense. Jenkins impacted the game without forcing shots, using his instincts and timing to attack the rim with ease and make smart cuts, especially in transition where he thrived as a slasher. Despite standing just 6’2″, Jenkins led the tournament in rebounding, showcasing his toughness and excellent eye for the ball. Offensively, he can stretch the floor as a solid three-point shooter, play above the rim, and bring great energy.

A strong team player, he impacted the game in multiple ways, continuing to improve defensively by generating steals and recording a couple of blocks. He was especially active early, collecting four steals in the first half, and remained a great presence on the glass throughout the game.

Jenkins delivered an impactful performance in his game on Friday, leading his team with 19 points and 11 rebounds. He’s a strong rebounder for his size and has been averaging a double-double this season. Offensively, Jenkins gets to the rim with ease and complements his attack with a reliable mid-range game. Defensively, he’s a capable on-ball defender who competes on every possession, making him a consistent two-way contributor.

Long and lanky, Jenkins impressed college coaches this off-season with his play both in club basketball with  Team Progress  and at several elite camps. The 6-foot-3 senior plays with a high motor and can really make a difference with his on-the-ball defense, but also has the ability to get hot with his shot from three-point range.
