Although on the small side, Kauffman almost always makes a big impact on the outcome of a contest. The 5-foot-11 point guard is relentless with the ball in his hands and can create separation with his hesitation dribble, his speed and his craftiness. Kauffman is a terrific outside shooter, an excellent facilitator and a player who strives to win each possession. He is fast in transition with the ball in his hands and does an excellent job of pushing the ball ahead to take advantage of mismatches. Lancaster has probably the best threesome in the Southwestern Wisconsin Conference with the return of Kauffman, Hermsen and senior guard Taylor Williams Taylor Williams 6'1" | SG/CG Lancaster | 2026 State WI .

Kauffman was a crowd pleaser for Team Complete fans in its win over Minnesota Select Horn. He weaved his way through defenders to score in the lane, but he also drained three-point shots at a high level. Kauffman made three-point shots throughout the game, swishing six triples on the way to scoring 25 points. Kauffman doesn’t turn the ball over and is good at getting the ball to his teammates in scoring position.

A pure dynamo on the court. Kauffman is everywhere at once. His speed is his biggest attribute, but his craftiness with the ball ranks up there as well. A backcourt of Kauffman and Taylor Williams Taylor Williams 6'1" | SG/CG Lancaster | 2026 State WI is worth the price of admission as both players compete with all-out hustle and dogged determination. Kauffman can score from deep and in transition, and he’s also a good passer. Lancaster went 3-0 in Prairie du Chien and might have been the best team in the event, in large part to the excellent all-around play of its energizer.
