#16 – David Terrell David Terrell 6'4" | CG Mansfield Summit | 2023 State TX has the chance to become a terrific college player because of his leadership qualities and ability to quickly adapt to any situation. Terrell is a 6-foot-4 two-guard with a wildly impactful set of skills. The Mansfield Summit senior consistently displays great intangibles, a team-first mentality, phenomenal control of the tempo of the game, a highly unselfish mindset, a willing passer with an advanced feel for the game, and a top-notch playmaker who makes winning plays in clutch moments and plays his best in the biggest games. He’s a true all-around talent with very few glaring weaknesses to his game and such a dynamic defensive prowess that he was awarded the 8-5A District Defensive Player of the Year due to how effectively he shuts down, slows down, or limits the opportunities of his opponents whether they’re a guard or a wing-forward. Ever since the tail end of June, following the TABC Showcase, Terrell has gained 11 Division 1 basketball scholarship offers along with plenty more interest.
