Kwiat impressed with his ability to impact the game in different ways for his Neshannock squad. He has good touch around the bucket and finished in a plethora of ways. He can be a threat from behind the three point line. Kwiat scored through contact. He would be an ideal get at the small college level.

Kwiat is a natural scorer who can find the bucket in a variety of ways. He has a knack for scoring from behind the arc. Kwiat shows flashes scoring off the bounce. Hoping that he can add more weight to his frame. He could also get a step faster on the defensive end. Kwiat should see traction from small colleges in his recruitment.

Kwiat is a WPIAL standout who has all the tools to be successful at the next level. College coaches need to stop sleeping on him immediately. He is a lights out three-point shooter with logo distance range. At 6’3” and with a quick release, Kwiat is capable of shooting over most defenders and even double teams. Kwiat’s transition and trail three-point shooting are especially impressive. If an opposing team manages to chase Kwiat off the arc, he will dip into his bag of dribble moves and get to his mid-range spots or all the way to the cup. Additionally, Kwiat owns the handles and court vision to slide over to the point guard spot for stretches.      

David Kwiat David Kwiat 6'2" | SG Neshannock | 2026 State PA averaged 17 points per game last season. His excellence on the court earned him a spot on the First Team All-Section. Offensively, David has excellent range and gets his shot off quickly. One of David’s standout qualities is his ability to move without the ball. He is fundamentally sound and never stands still, consistently finding ways to get open and create scoring opportunities. This constant motion makes him difficult to guard and opens up the floor for his teammates. His understanding of spacing and timing reflects a high basketball IQ.His excellent AAU season with Caveman this summer has further developed his skills and confidence. As he steps into a leadership role for Neshannock this upcoming season, his work ethic and experience are expected to elevate both his game and his team’s performance.

His understanding of the game is evident in the way he moves without the ball — he is constantly finding ways to get open and never standing still. Kwiat is fundamentally sound, which makes him a reliable player in all aspects of the game.
