There’s 2 sides to the Munro story. I wrote in a preview article that I wanted to see more of the point guard side of his game. So I’ll start by saying that he did do that. Munro was much more selective with his shot and moved the ball more. That being said, this might have been his most efficient shooting performance of the grassroots season. I think he found the secret sauce to his jumper and offensive game.

I’ve seen Munro play as a fearless shooter. I even wrote about it in the spring. But he’s definitely a combo guard, and I’m looking forward to focusing on that part of his game. Defenses respect him as a shooter and I believe he can use that to create opportunities for his Michigan Jayhawks teammates.

This was my first time scouting Munro and I’m glad that I got the opportunity. He’s an absolutely fearless shooter that always seemed to find space to get his shot off. As he continues to learn what a good shot looks like, that jumper will be an big time game changer.
