The bouncy big man set the tone early and dominated the first half for the visiting Cougars. Quick off the floor for blocks and rebounds. Great touch around the rim from 8 feet and in, solid footwork on back to the basket moves. Even stepped out and drained a three during his big first half. Was a complete game changer on both ends of the floor. Plays to size and knows who he is.

Iweze has a traditional big man game along with the tendencies of the modern day big. He has good athleticism and with that he’s able to roll to the basket quickly and efficient off screens. Has good footwork in the paint and can dribble from the perimeter to get to his spot down low. If you leave him open out on the perimeter he can also knock down some shots. He’s also good at passing out the paint and at the top of the key. He is set to have a big senior year this upcoming season.

David Iweze David Iweze 6'9" | PF ISchool Of Lewisville | 2025 State #152 Nation TX faced off against one of the top prospects at the power forward position, playing with a chip on his shoulder and dominating his opponent from the tip-off. He displayed a versatile scoring skill set with both face-up and back-to-the-basket moves, using his strength and footwork to create space for a fadeaway mid-range jumper. Iweze was also a lob threat, especially in transition. Off the ball, he excelled at setting pindown screens, helping his shooters get clean looks from outside. Defensively, he showed quick reflexes and active hands, leading to clean steals in one-on-one situations. His combination of size, vertical leaping, and timing made him a game-changing presence on both ends of the floor.

6’9 David Iweze David Iweze 6'9" | PF ISchool Of Lewisville | 2025 State #152 Nation TX was my top graded big from the event. He looked like he put on another inch or so since I seen him this summer and dominant is the key word for him. He showed everything a college program is looking for and some in the post area. Offensively he’s your classic stretch 4/5 able to operate with post up, pro footwork and a soft touch at the rim. He also runs the floor and sets quick IQ screens very well for his size. Defensively he’s a man in the paint, altering anything that comes his way, he also grabbed 10 plus rebounds both games. He had a few poster dunks and can be explosive even with a defender in front of him. He’s a D1 lock and will have a breakout season this year for Lewisville iSchool.
