Darnell Clay has been one of the more recognizable names in the Class of 2030 for quite some time, but his performance at the Jr. EYBL Peach Jam showed just how much his game has evolved. He played with a much more consistent motor, impacted possessions on both ends, and looked far more comfortable within the flow of the offense. Defensively, his activity and versatility took a noticeable step forward, as he moved his feet well and showed the ability to switch onto multiple positions. Offensively, the agile forward displayed the skill to score from all three levels while continuing to expand his overall game. The progress Clay made over the spring and summer was evident and should have people excited about his long-term trajectory.
