Player Bio
How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?
I’m a relentless defender who takes pride in shutting down opponents with intense pressure and smart positioning. My focus is always on disrupting the offense, forcing turnovers, and contesting every shot. Whether it’s diving for loose balls, locking down the best player, or communicating on switches, I bring energy on every possession. As a team player, I prioritize making the right plays.
Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?
I’m a humble, hard-working athlete who lets my actions speak louder than words. I’m always focused on getting better and pushing myself to new heights without seeking the spotlight. Winning is my ultimate goal, and I’m willing to do whatever it takes for my team to succeed, whether it’s making the extra pass, putting in the defensive work, or stepping up in critical moments.
Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?
I was truly honored to receive the Principal’s Award, recognizing my hard work and dedication both academically and personally. This award means a lot to me, as it reflects not just my achievements in the classroom, but also my commitment to being a positive influence on those around me. It’s a reminder that staying focused, disciplined, and true to my values can make a difference.
What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?
I’ve come to really value defense in my game, realizing how crucial it is for success. Taking pride in my defensive efforts has become a big part of my approach. I’ve also learned the importance of communication on the court—calling out screens, switches, and helping my teammates stay organized.
Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.
Living with my mom as a single parent has profoundly shaped my life. I’ve watched her work tirelessly to provide for us, and her dedication has been a huge source of inspiration. Starting basketball at a late age, I faced additional challenges, but her unwavering support helped me persevere.
What type of college are you looking for?
I’m looking for a college where I can dive into both technology and basketball. I want to find a school that offers strong programs in tech and also has a solid basketball program. Ideally, I’d like a place where I can develop my skills in software while still being actively involved in sports. I’m eager to find a college that supports both my academic and athletic goals, allowing me to excel.
