Brown made some big baskets on Saturday to help Cimarron get the win. He used a variety of post moves to shake his defender, and drained some not so easy shots. While I already had Brown moving up in the rankings before the game, he certainly helped his case even more. He is now in the #63 spots after previously being in the 90’s.

Daniel Brown Daniel Brown 6'3" | SG Cimarron | 2025 State NV may be listed as a shooting guard, but his 6’3” frame has allowed him to play power forward in previous years. The athletic senior knows how to be physical down low offensively and defensively. This is his bread and butter, where he uses his height to his advantage. Brown has recorded multiple double-double performances during his high school tenure, stat-stuffing points and rebounds. Combining physicality with size, Brown makes a great defender.

Brown may end up playing on the inside a bit because he is one of the taller and more athletic guys on the team. Offensively, he can finish tough shots around the rim and also has the ability to throw down some dunks in transition. On defense, he’ll need to provide good help defense and rebound the ball. I can see him moving up in the rankings if he can play consistently this year.
