Dane Hatfield Dane Hatfield 6'3" | SG Herbert Hoover | 2025 State WV had a great performance this week, with 18 vs. Phillip Barbour. Hatfield like a few others here, is also a great two sport star and QB for the football Huskies. Hatfield caught the eye of many college coaches as a freshman at the WV State Basketball Tournament with a couple dazzling performances.

Hatfield is a heck of an athlete for the Huskies. Dane plays Quarterback in the fall for Hoover HS. Dane scored 22 points, grabbed 8 rebounds and dished 5 assists in a loss to Scott HS 68-62. Dane a bit of a 2/3 on the floor connected on all 3 levels today for the Huskies. He really plays the game with a good deal of confidence.

Hatfield is a tremendous shooter from outside the ark. He can either catch and shoot or bring some moves out of his arsenal to create a shot off the dribble. Excellent at controlling the pace of the offense. Knows how to work a ball screen to create a shot for him or his teammates.
