Expert Analysis
Devontae Cobb | Prep Hoops Scout
At 6’6”, Parker is a high-level athlete who can take flight from multiple angles when attacking the rim, playing well above the basket with effortless vertical pop. What truly separates him, though, is his guard-like handle, footwork, and patience as a playmaker, a true on-ball creator who can run an offense and breaking down defenses. His ability to manipulate tempo is elite, knowing when to slow down to read defensive rotations, probe with pace, or burst explosively downhill to collapse the defense. Parker’s blend of size, skill, and rhythm control makes him a unique two-way initiator and mismatch creator.

A 2030 prospect playing up in the high school division and looking like he belonged, if not dominated among older players. Parker was flat-out explosive in space, showing effortless above-the-rim ability with two-hand dunks in transition and a violent one-foot punch over a defender off a high pick-up cross step. His footwork off the dribble was advanced beyond his years, using jab series, cross-steps, and deceptive pickups to create angles and separation. He converted tough, off-balance finishes through contact and had no problem generating space to get clean looks at the rim or midrange.
