He consistently relocated himself before stepping into catches with rhythm and clean 1-2 footwork, allowing him to get balanced and read closeouts instantly. His shot preparation and mechanics were highly disciplined, making him a dangerous perimeter weapon the moment the ball touched his hands. When defenders closed out aggressively, he countered with convincing pump fakes and smooth pivots to square up and face the basket, almost always getting his man to bite. His combination of shooting touch, footwork, and feel made him far more than just a spot-up shooter, but a polished scoring threat from beyond the arc.

Garcia’s shooting mechanics were fluid and consistent, making him a constant threat to splash jumpers from deep or pull up confidently in the mid-range. Garcia’s readiness to fire off the catch, along with his quick foot footwork and smooth follow-through, showcase his potential as a true three-point specialist. Garcia’s ability to move without the ball and relocate instinctively also created scoring opportunities that stretched the floor and opened driving lanes for teammates.

Offensively I liked the way he kept being on the move instead of clogging the paint. Cruz is a team player that involves himself on both ends of the floor. Defensively he showed great effort to protect the rim for his team primarily doing what’s necessary to get stops for Team 4 in 5v5 action.
