A Tampa commit whose stock continues to rise in the 2027 class, McPherson is poised to lead the way in the backcourt for TFA this season. He is an aggressive lead guard who excels at getting downhill off the dribble, using his strength to finish through contact in the paint. McPherson is also a reliable open perimeter shot maker who provides offensive versatility. On the defensive end, he stands out as a very good on ball defender who can pressure opposing guards and disrupt their rhythm.

Pressure starts the moment McPherson picks up his assignment defensively. The University of Tampa commit brings speed and relentless ball pressure that consistently creates turnovers while disrupting opposing offenses. On the other end, he attacks downhill with confidence, gets into the paint whenever opportunities present themselves, and has shown noticeable improvement as a perimeter shooter. His athleticism and two-way production have made for an impressive summer.

Sharing ball-handling duties with Bynoe, McPherson is a quick, athletic, attacking lead guard who consistently puts pressure on the defense and is tough to keep out of the paint. His perimeter shooting continues to improve, adding another dimension to his offensive game. Defensively, he can be a true game changer, capable of picking up full court, disrupting opposing guards, and making it difficult for teams to initiate their offense.
