About Corey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A two way combo guard/forward with excellent shooting ability and a defensive mentality. Electric in the open floor and can finish above the rim.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Coachable, team player but very intense. Loves the game, and loves to compete. I hate to lose, and I've been taught to play the right way, starting with defense.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a natural leader on and off the floor. I try to set a good example for my sister, who is class of 2032, and will be amazing as well. A lot of my off time is spent working with her on her game.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I played Varsity Basketball as a Freshman at Gerstell Academy. I didn't play for one of the larger AAU teams, and I went to a Middle School that didnt have a middle school basketball, so my Freshman year at Gerstell was also my first year ever playing school basketball, and at times, it was difficult. But I feel like my team and I are poised to have a breakout season for my Sophmore campaign.

What type of college are you looking for?

An Engineering based school, or even an Ivy League school would be awesome. But most of all, I would like the opportunity to continue playing basketball at the college level while continuing my education.
