About Corbin

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play with a lot of versatility, I can score the ball at all 3 levels. I can shoot the ball well, I can get to the rim whenever, I have a good mid-range jumpshot, and I can get to the free throw line very well. I try and model my game after Shai, Jarred McCain, and Liam Mcneely.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality on the basketball court is always ready to go and just love being on the court no matter the situation. I do always feel confident in my game and think I have to be the best player on the court at all times while still proving to people that I deserve to be on the court the entire time. My personality about basketball is I will always hustle, bring energy, and lift my teammates up.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am involved in just a couple clubs/originations. One of those being Peer to Peer/inclusive sports, that is where we get to learn about different disabilities and get to play sports with students that have different disabilities. I have received Honor Roll for my first 2 semesters at Dickinson High School and a 3 sport athlete award from grades 6-8.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Some skills I have developed are leadership as my class of 2028 basketball team for DHS isn't very great I have to be a leader and always be a role model to the kids who look up to me. Also I have learned how to have better teamwork as you need that throughout life. Some community service I have done is helping our community with other events that go on in our town such as basketball tournaments.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I have faced significant challenges like our basketball team not being successful so I had to fight through that and still prove I am the best on the court and always have good body language towards my coaching staff and teammates that help me get to the next level of basketball.

What type of college are you looking for?

A helpful one that can get me to the next higher level with good academics, people, coaches, trainers, and a great facility where I can go and workout to become great at my sport. Also I would like my college that I go to, to be as honest as possible to me.
