This was my first time seeing Te Ratana in person and I was first surprised by his size. He’s a VERY long 6-foot-6 and doesn’t move like he’s that size; he’s very agile on the break and looks incredibly comfortable in his body. He’s an above the rim, explosive athlete with the ability to pass, dribble and shoot quite effectively, and he has a nice feel for the game. He consistently looked for kick ahead passes and was unselfish in his approach to getting teammates involved, but it’s clear he could start dominating offensively at virtually any time. He should be on the radar of scholarship coaches and D1 hoops is absolutely in the question for him.
