Frakes has a really nice first-step off the dribble and a strong body which he uses to keep his line on drives to the hoop. He also makes really good decisions for his teammates when the help collapses, whether it be in the half court or in transition. His shot isn’t quite there yet, though, and he’s a bit too content to just get a three-ball up when the offense stalls. If he can improve his release and accuracy, he could be a high D3 candidate. Right now, he’s a workhorse combo-guard who can play both ends of the court and is a relentless attacker of the hoop. He still has another year to potentially grow, too.
