About Connor

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

A guard who likes to play in transition to utilize my vision and pull up game offensively. I Love to work off screens (both on and off ball) as well as catch & shoot. I take pride in guarding and continuing to develop my speed and strength.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I love being in the gym working on my game and being around like-minded people that have the same goals and interests as I do. I want to work, learn, compete and be the best that I can be.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

Honors Math, English and Science Academic Achievement WVGSA Benchmark, Honor Roll, Builders Club, Honor Society Student Council

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I am a two-sport athlete and feel like this has provided me the opportunity to be a role model for younger kids. Being part of a team means you have to be a good teammate. I understand that nobody is perfect and working on being the best version of me is how I can be a great teammate. I work with younger kids in the game of basketball and try to give back to the community every chance I get.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When I started playing travel ball, I wasn't as good as many of the players on my team and would often come off the bench. I did not get discouraged and continued to work on my game. I just played my role to the best of my ability. With continued work, the next summer I got the opportunity to start a couple games. The Following summer, I broke into the starting lineup and am continuing to work!

What type of college are you looking for?

I would like to find a college that plays a transition style game and one that values its players both on and off the court. I want to continue to develop my skills so a school that focuses on skill development and player development is a must. When it comes to academics, I want to study business and entrepreneurship. My goal is to continue playing past college and eventually start my own business
