Colton Nielsen Colton Nielsen UT is one of the top shooters in the 2030 class, and he’s a player who knows how to win. He’s been competing at a high level for years, and I really like the way he controls the game as a point guard. He plays with great pace, has a strong handle, and shows impressive poise for his age. Colton also brings a lot of value defensively, using his IQ and anticipation to create deflections and disrupt opposing guards. What makes me so high on Colton is that he already understands how to impact winning without needing to force the game. He has the shooting ability, decision-making, and competitive mindset to keep building on what he’s already shown. I’m excited to see how he continues adding to his skill set as he develops, because he’s a freshman I genuinely enjoy watching compete.
