Janvrin was probably the most impressive senior I saw this weekend. The 6-foot-6 forward showcased an extremely versatile offensive skillset from all three levels. He can make shots from three and has a really quick and pretty shot, but he also effectively drives closeouts and can use his strength and length in the paint to finish with contact. Janvrin really impressed me with his ability to pass the rock, too. He’s going to be one of the better players in Maine public school hoops this year and will probably be a post-grad candidate for lots of prep schools.

Janvrin, a forward out of Windham High School in Maine, is ranked at #38 among the powers forwards and #213 overall in this update. The 6’6″ forward should be one of the top prospects out of Maine this witner with his combination of basketball IQ, feel for the game, physical tools, and skillset. He’s able to play in the paint or on the perimeter, can score it at all three levels, and even has some breakdown ability off the bounce. On the other end of the floor, he battles on the defensive glass and shows the ability to read plays before they develop. He should garner wide-ranging interest at the Division III level this winter.
