About Cole

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I'm a well rounded player with a high basketball IQ. I have a passion for basketball and I work on my game everyday including strength training through my high school program. As a point and shooting guard, my court vision is very good and I shoot well from all distances. My ball handling skills and passing help to make me different than other players. I play strong defense and rebound well.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I'm a fierce competitor and hard worker. I love playing games, but I spend far more time in practice, training sessions and skills workouts to better my game. I'm not afraid to make mistakes, go up against bigger players, or try new skills. I get excellent grades in school and enjoy playing other sports like football, baseball and pickleball.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I received several academic awards at Community School of Naples (CSN). I received the Spanish award (2024), and was all-state academic (2025).

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

I attend one of the toughest academic schools in Florida. I do a good job of balancing school, sports, and family. For community service, I spend time with my Papa at a local animal preserve.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I think my biggest challenge right now is my size. I know I will continue to grow, but it doesn't stop me from playing against older, taller, and stronger players. I do not back down from anyone on the court. I know someday I will have size too. I have 4 brothers including my twin who is 5'10". My 19 year old brother is 6'3" and like me he started his big growth spurt in 9th grade.

What type of college are you looking for?

I want to attend a college with very strong academics and an excellent basketball program. I want to play for a coach who helps me become a better person, player and student.

As a freshman, Cole Vetor Cole Vetor Cole Vetor 5'10" | PG/SG Community School Of Naples (CSN) | 2028 FL was a major contributor for a Community School of Naples team that was filled with strong guards. In the 2024-25 season, Vetor was second in points (8.7) and assists (2.5), while also leading his CSN team in steals at 1.7 per game. Whether he has the ball in his hands or is playing off the ball, Vetor brings immense value due to his knockdown jumper and superb feel for the game. Yet above all else, what makes Vetor a standout player is his infectious intensity and love for competition that you simply cannot teach.
