Expert Analysis
Aaron Villa | Prep Hoops Scout
Cj is a very intriguing prospect with high upside. He is a modern day 4 man that can do it all. He handles the ball like a guard and has have a point forward style of play. He is most dangerous in the open court when attacking with a full head of stream using euro steps and acrobatic finishes to score at the rim. He has the tools to be a great off ball player that can post up or slash to the rim. He is versatile and was a hard matchup for almost everyone at the showcase. Cj is will be one of the top players in his class and will open some eyes this year at Hamilton.

Really got into a groove after his first game of the day, settling in as more of a downhill big who can also pass the rock. He can already do a lot at his size as a freshman, with a ton of upside moving forward. Most of his points came on drive-in layups, using his large frame to bully his way into the paint and absorb the bump on the finish. His drives are fairly straightforward, straight to the rim, but the size makes that work. He picked up boards at both ends in the process. What was most impressive was his vision on fastbreaks, lasering passes off his dribble to a teammate in the paint.
