Muñoz has the ball in his hands quite a bit for La Mirada and good things always seem to happen when he is running the offense. The 5-foot-11 senior can really pass – meaning he delivers them with good timing and accuracy in a variety of settings. Muñoz can push the tempo in transition but doesn’t force the issue and instead surveys the floor and decides whether there’s an advantage or not. He’s very effective in running the Matadores’ half-court offense where his ball screen IQ, ability to make reads and knowing his teammates’ strengths and weaknesses leads to him generating good shots.
