Rodriguez has done a terrific job of playing his role while at Cheyenne. He has been a good floor general for teams with talented players. This season should see him taking a more assertive role for the Desert Shields.

Rodriguez played with a steady hand on Saturday. He’s done a good job showing that he understands, how and where to pick his spots. He has a lot of skill, and could easily justify initiating personal offense, however he’s the consumate floor general, that gets everyone involved.

Rodriguez put on a show the last time I saw him. The quiet PG showed some tremendous 1 v 1 ability getting his own shot for his team. As we get closer to the start of the regular season, I’m checking to see how much more of a role, this team leader takes on.

Whatch out for Rodriguez this season, last year on a team full of dogs, he was a facilator, and game manager. If yesterday was any indication, he could end up being an assasin. Showed a lot of wiggle in his game, and made both deep threes, and tough mid range shots. His ability to seperate create, and bury shots was something I didn’t even realize he had in his game.
