Christopher is a physical, speedy point guard that can light up his opposition and leave them frustrated and exhausted. He may be the quickest player I saw in the tournament – he’s an absolute missile on his drives to the lane. He’s a gritty rebounder on both ends and he’s a smart player – high IQ, knows how and when to take charges, not shaken easily, and even knows how to get in his opponents’ heads’ a bit. He’s skilled at using his ballhandling and footwork to create contact and get to the line on a consistent basis. He can be a flash on the fast break while taking it coast to coast and he’s incredibly difficult for any opponent to keep up with. He’s also great at altering his body in the air to get the best look at the rim. Balderas is going to turn more and more heads going forward and deservedly so.
