About Christian

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I pride myself on being a “team first” PG with a high IQ and high motor. I’m ultra-competitive, athletic, and hardworking, both on the court and off, and had the distinct honor this year of being ranked on the ESPN top Point Guard list in the #12 spot.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I am disciplined and hard working. I always put in effort, and I'm an honest and trustworthy team mate.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am a red belt in Taekwondo, and I'm actively involved in various civic and community service related initiatives and organizations.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Leadership, teamwork, and community service are all traits and characteristics that are required if one takes their growth and development seriously. I'm committed to growing in all of these areas and show these characteristics through my daily behavior.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Challenges present themselves in multiple ways and in varying degrees. The goal is to meet every challenge head on, and find ways to accomplish your goals.

What type of college are you looking for?

I'm looking for the college or university that is looking for me. I am excited about the opportunities that await me, and understand the importance of being where I am needed.

Christian Brown Christian Brown Christian Brown 5'0" | SG TX is dedicated to ensuring the success of his teammates. Offensively, he excels at both making plays for his teammates and creating opportunities for himself. On the defensive end, he maintains high activity levels, taking advantage of his position on the help side to steal the ball from players who aren’t paying attention. Despite the Blue Chips’ overwhelming victory over the competition at the Space City Collision, Christian showcased his ability as a division one player.

What’s Next for Christian?
Christian, a rising junior, currently ranks top 25 in Texas and is considered a top 10-point guard by Prep Hoops. During the summer, he received a few offers from division one programs. As time progresses, I anticipate he will receive more offers before his senior year. I’ve noticed that Christian is a person who is willing to give back to the community, which is a character trait that people/coaches should recognize.
